I had a lot of fun in Digital Photography with Mr. O'Donnell this past year. On the first day of school, I walked into his classroom barely knowing anything about a camera or taking photos with a camera. I have learned so much from his class. It was a lot of fun learning new things about taking photos, using Photo Shop, "Fun Photo Friday", just having fun in general, the assignments we did, and making new friends. I highly recommend taking his class in the future, you will have so much fun and learn a lot.

In this assignment, we had to look up some visual funny puns on google to get an idea to create visual puns of our own. After we made 3 puns, we had to put it all on the same palette and turn it into the server. My puns were 1) butterfly 2) apple watch 3) onion ring. I learned how to make a background one solid color and to add photos over the background. This was a fun assignment cause it was fun to see what other people did as there puns and to create your own. In this assignment, we had to chose 2 words and I chose Ailurophobia and Equinophobia as my words. Then we had to put the meaning of the word on the document and had some photos related to the words we chose. Then we had to put the photos on the same document and turn them into the server. I learned how to make the background of a document one color and then fade into another color using the granite tool in Photo Shop. This was a fun and cool assignment because you learned new words and what they meant.
In this assignment, I chose to do shadows and lighting as my 7th/ last photo assignment. Shutter speed: 1/10 ISO: 800 Aperture: F3.4 I learned how to take different angles to find different ways the shadow is facing and to try different objects and the way the camera is angled.
In this assignment, our teacher set up a studio with a white background and some lights in a room and we had to take photos of a person in front of the white background and adjust the lights to how we wanted it to be. Then we had to take another photo that wasn't in the studio and we had to use a bounce card to get natural lighting in the photo. Overall, this assignment was fun to get to take pictures like your in an actual studio with fancy lights and a nice, clean background. I am happy with the way my photos turned out but I feel like I could've done better on them. I learned how to make a background a plain color, how to add frames around a picture, and how to use a bounce card to get natural lighting.
In this assignment, I chose to do landscape as my 6th photo. I went to my friends lake house and took some pictures of the lake (Lake Michigan). Shutter Speed: 1/1600 ISO: 400 Aperture: F3.4 (no editing) Overall, this assignment was fun to take different lightings of the lake. It was fun to get some photos with the sunset in them and when the sun was touching and reflecting off the water.
In this assignment, we had to look up "Photo Shop Tutorials" and we had to chose a few tutorials that we wanted to create. We had to chose easy, medium, or hard ones. Once we finish the tutorials, we had to turn in our best 3 that we made into the server and upload them to our blog. This assignment was fun to learn new things about how to use Photo Shop, it was cool to see what you could do in Photo Shop, and to see what other people did as there tutorials. Overall this assignment was really fun.

In this assignment, we had create panoramic photos. We went around the school, or outside, or your house and we had to make sure that the photos were the same level and that we didn't shake our hands or less it would be messed up. Then we had to use Adobe Photoshop to photo merge the photos we took and it would be a panoramic photo. I learned in this assignment how to photo merge photos together.
